If you are the previous owner

- Proof of ownership (we accept deed or a recent tax bill)
- W9 form (see below)
- Direct Deposit form (see below)
- Voided check or letter from the bank showing the routing and account number
If you have already sold the unit but continue to receive housing assistance payments, please forward these to the new owner.

What about missed payments?
Please contact the previous owner for payments which were deposited in their account. If the payments were stopped and not deposited to the previous owner, payments will be released following the change of ownership in our system.
How long will this take?
The process of change of ownership will take 1-2 weeks from the completion of all submitted documents. Your payments will be released in our next check run. We have two check runs a month which are first of the month and mid-month. The appropriate contact for this, and other property owner inquiries is:
Mitch.Kyle@metrohousingboston.org.
