Starting September 5, 2025 the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) will be upgrading to a new voucher management system that will be used by all nine Regional Administering Agencies (RAAs), including Metro Housing Boston. This upgrade is designed to improve efficiency and accuracy in program administration.
During the transition, Metro Housing Boston will not have access to the new system. Current Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) will continue without interruption; however, we cannot process any payment changes until system access is restored.
It is expected we gain access in mid-October 2025. At that time, we will process payment changes in the order they were received. Updated HAP amounts will appear in one of the regularly scheduled payments to property owners between November 1, 2025, and mid-December 2025.
